The legends of Bodybuilding




Bodybuilding trend started to immerge in the 1970s with legends for instance Arnold Schwarzengger, Lue Ferrigno, and Steve Reeves to name a few.
To begin with, Arnold Schwarzengger was an elite bodybuilder. He is still considered one of the most important figures in the sport of bodybuilding. He has won many titles such as Mr. Olympia 6 times and Mr. Universe to name a few. Arnold later on started a career in Hollywood and gave his fans box-office hits such as Terminator series and currently he is the governor of the state of California.
Second figure considered a legend in the world of bodybuilding is Lue Ferrigno. He competed against Arnold in many competitions and also was staring with him in Arnolds Pumping Iron. Lue has won many titles as well. Mr. Olympia four times and Mr. Universe three times. Lue also started a career in Hollywood after he retired from bodybuilding. He gave us hits like The Hulk and Hercules to name a few.
Last but not least Steve Reeves. He was a legend admired by legends in the world of bodybuilding. Steve won titles such as Mr. Universe and Mr. America on a number of different occasions. Steve also went to Hollywood and gave us hits such as the Super Man series. After his shoulder injury he was unable to compete in professional bodybuilding, he started breeding horses and promoting drug free bodybuilding. Later in life, he was paralyzed neck down due to an accident then he passed away 5 years later.
