Supplements


There are several types of supplements available in the market. The mot comely used supplements are; protein powders, creatine and sports vitamins.  There are many different types of protein powders available. For example there is protein powder to maintain weight, cut down weight and or gain weight. Individuals have to choose their protein source according to their needs.  There is a bar form of protein available, and is used by people who are not able to drink the protein shakes due to taste or just want to add more protein to their diet. If the body doesn’t get enough protein it could result in not changing at all, and all the hard work you’ve done in the gym would go down the drain.
 Second most commonly used supplement is creatine. When creatine is used it provides water retention to the muscles and that activates faster growth. It is usually used to gain weight. Individuals using creatine as a supplement, needs to consume more water than average. If not it could result in building up in the liver and cause liver damage.
Third most commonly used supplement in sports is high performance sports vitamins.  Vitamins are needed to live a healthy life for everyone but people who exercise on the regular basis need to take their vitamin on the regular basis as well. It is very difficult to provide your body with full serving of vitamins needed every day, this is why sports vitamins are available to complete a athletic diet and that results in faster growth and over all wellbeing.
